Born in Hampshire, Angela became an 'Essex Girl' after completion of her accountancy qualification when she joined the London Docklands Development Corporation. Overseeing the financial and the project management systems on such schemes as the original Docklands Light Railway, she had to be dragged away from her work to have her first child.
Angela returned to part-time work, lecturing in the local College of Further Education and obtaining a teaching qualification.
After five years of teaching, Angela was enticed back into mainstream business rescuing a failing local company. Following that Angela saw an advertisement for the WSET what could be better than accountancy and wine?
When not at work Angela enjoys occasional treks into the mountains, listening to music, singing and dancing, nurturing plants and her children. Sometimes she is even able to sit down and enjoy a glass of wine with her husband, Ian.
