WSET London Wine & Spirit School Advanced Certificate Course Entry Test The entry test is an online multiple-choice question test that covers areas of knowledge required for entry onto the Advanced Certificate course. It is marked online and the results are issued immediately on completion. This test is only available in an online format and WSET School is unable to offer alternative arrangements. A mark of 65% is required to gain a pass and only one attempt at the test is allowed. The test must be completed in 45 minutes and comprises of 50 questions. A pass in this test is only valid for entry onto WSET London Wine & Spirit School courses and may not be used for entry onto courses at any other WSET Approved Programme Provider. This test is not equivalent to the Intermediate Certificate qualification and does not entitle anyone who achieves a pass grade to the Intermediate Certificate Award. The test is used to assess your level of knowledge across the whole of the Intermediate Certificate syllabus and is at the level required of someone wishing to start an Advanced Certificate course at WSET London Wine & Spirit School. This is to ensure you are enrolling onto the correct level of course if you do not hold the WSET Intermediate Certificate in Wine and Spirits. You may book the test using the button below or by using the Advanced Certificate booking form. You will receive an email with your login details to access the online test. You will receive your login 3 working days after receiving your booking. Your login will be valid for 1 month after issue. Your result will be held in a WSET London Wine & Spirit School database and you will not be issued with a certificate. Once you have passed your test you may contact courses@wset.co.uk to process your booking onto your chosen Advanced Certificate course. If you fail the test you may wish to enrol on the Intermediate Certificate or the Novice to Professional course, courses which better suit a beginner’s level of starting knowledge. You will not be able to book more than one attempt at the test in order to get a pass grade. Your fee will only be refundable if you pass and will be deducted from your enrolment fee onto an Advanced Certificate course at the London Wine & Spirit School. If you fail the test you may have the fee refunded against your enrolment on the Intermediate Certificate or Novice to Professional courses. The refund is available on courses starting within 6 months of the date of taking the Advanced Entry Test.
