Diploma Coursework Assignments 2008/2009

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The assessment of Unit 1, The Global Business of Alcoholic Beverages is changing with effect from 1 August 2008.   Candidates who have registered as Diploma candidates AND already commenced the assessment for Unit 1 of the Diploma qualification prior to 31 July 2008 will now be referred to as TRANSITIONAL CANDIDATES. 

They will remain as transitional candidates until 31 July 2010 when their 3 year registration period comes to an end.   These transitional candidates will have until 31 July 2010 in which to gain a pass grade in all four coursework assignments that formed the assessment for Unit 1 at the beginning of their registration period.  If at 31 July 2010 Unit 1 still remains incomplete, any pass grades held will be transferred to the new format and candidates will be required to complete Unit 1 under the new assessment strategy.

ALL OTHER CANDIDATES ARE DEFINED AS NEW CANDIDATES.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU DOWNLOAD THE CORRECT ASSIGNMENT TITLES.   Titles are posted under two categories:

• Titles for transitional candidates completing 4 coursework assignments
• Titles for new candidates registering for the academic year commencing 1 August 2008 completing 1 coursework assignment and 1 closed book case study examination.
