WSET Awards of Excellence - Advanced 2011 Winners

Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits Scholarships

The top students who have achieved either a Pass with Distinction or Pass with Merit are invited to the Advanced Certificate Scholarship Competition which takes place every November.  They are required to verbally answer questions on 9 different wine/spirit regions as well as a blind tasting.

Budd The Julian Brind Memorial Scholarship
Sponsored by the WSET and named in memory of one the Trust's past Chairman.  A bursay for a study trip to a wine/spirit - producing region, provided by the WSET.

Vintners 2011The Vintners' Bursaries
Three bursaries, sponsored by The Vintners' Company, used towards the cost of a foreign study tour.

Bordeaux

The Conseil Interprofessional du Vin de Bordeaux Scholarship

A 3 day Grands Crus course at the Bordeaux Wine School.

The Gonzalez Byass Scholarship

A study tour to the Douro as a guest of Gonzalez Byass

WADEThe Champagne Academy Scholarship
A place on the Champagne Academy study course.
