We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Wine Advisors to join our Customer service team in Basingstoke on a permanent and fixed term basis (6 month FTC).
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for handling inbound wine and sales related enquiries, whilst demonstrating a high level of wine knowledge at all times. Other duties will include: answering of incoming calls and emails in accordance with the agreed service standards and offering support to the Customer Service team when required; keying sales orders; processing payments; providing administrative, service and sale support to customer service team and other departments as required.
The successful candidates must have previous wine sales experience in either retail or telephone based environment, with a proven record of meeting and exceeding customer’s expectations. They must have an excellent telephone manner and good attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure within a busy environment.
A high level of Wine knowledge is essential, preferably to WSET Level 3 (Advanced).
The hours will be 35 hours per week, usually between 9.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday, flexibility is essential to this role and regular Saturday working will be required.
