Alumni networking and tasting
WSET is delighted to invite Diploma Alumni to join us at the Crosby Hotel, SoHo for an exclusive networking reception and wine tasting with the Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB).
The evening will be hosted by Ian Harris DipWSET, WSET Chief Executive together with Maggie Cambell DipWSET, WSET Alumni Advisory Board member for USA.
Ian and Maggie will be joined by an all-star line up of presenters who will lead an exclusive tasting of the dry white wines of Bordeaux.
The event is a special opportunity to make new connections or re-connect with your fellow WSET Diploma holders while continuing to develop your tasting practice.
Bordeaux’s Best Kept Secret - Dry White Bordeaux
Iconic, classic red wine is probably the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Bordeaux. Dry white wine is perhaps Bordeaux’s best-kept secret - even today. Join us as we navigate through the history of dry white Bordeaux - its past prominence, its decline, and its modern renaissance. Through a discursive tasting across a diverse array of styles and appellations we will examine its place today in terms flavor profile, style, quality, ability to age and market positioning. 9 wines to be tasted.
