This online masterclass for WSET Alumni will take a deep dive into the wine regions of Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia and Peru and give a great insight into their history of wine production and main grape varieties today while also exploring some of the most exciting wines and trends to emerge from the region in recent years.

Amanda Barnes is an award-winning wine writer and specialist in the wine regions of South America having first moved there in 2009. She writes for Decanter and The World Atlas of Wine, is Editor of The Circle of Wine Writers, and is author of The South America Wine Guide. Amanda won the Derouet Jameson Prize and Peter Hampson Memorial Prize for her outstanding WSET Diploma results and is currently in the Masters of Wine program.
