WSET Certified Educators Cynthia Ribeiro-Richter and Robert Crouch explain how to combine a tasting note and a little wine knowledge to determine whether a wine has the potential to improve with age.

Cynthia Ribeiro-Richter DipWSET
Cynthia holds the WSET Diploma and leads a WSET Approved Programme Provider (APP) Centre in Heidelberg, Germany. As an accomplished wine professional, she actively participates as a judge in wine competitions, serves as a guest lecturer at German universities, and provides consulting services to wineries, the trade, and hospitality businesses.
Robert Crouch, APP Development Manager, WSET
Rob joined WSET in 2018 and having completed his WSET level 2 award in wine at the young age of 17 he has been passionate about drinks for well over 20 years.
Rob brings extensive experience to WSET's Global APP Development team. As APP Development Manager in the EMEA region, he works closely with new and existing APPs in the key markets of Germany, the Netherlands & Belgium, to ensure the highest standards of course delivery and exam delivery are maintained in the region. During this 20-year career Rob has built a wealth of experience in the retail, hospitality & distribution sectors and has held roles both on & off trade, and has experience in the buying, selling & service of wine. Rob is passionate about WSET's mission to inspire and develop beverage industry professionals and enthusiasts.
