Deniz Bayram DipWSET - Educator, WSET School London
Deniz Bayram DipWSET is part of the educator team at WSET School London. Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Deniz began his wine journey in the U.S. while training as a chef. He had the opportunity to work on all sides of the trade, from retail to restaurants, conducting tastings, and even making wine. He completed his WSET Diploma in 2022. Deniz is passionate about showcasing the unique wine regions of his homeland. He has hosted tastings on Turkish wines and heritage regions, focusing on the preservation of old vines and the diverse treasures of wines from the Eastern Mediterranean, Anatolia, Mesopotamia and beyond. He also represents Turkey in international wine competitions.
