Be The Change, the equal opportunity initiative committed to changing the status quo in the global wine industry through action and policy, launches its debut Virtual Job Fair on Thursday December 3rd 2020 with WSET as its Education Partner.

The four-hour event will host employers who are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) with space for up to 1,000 jobseekers and multiple job opportunities across the US wine industry. The fair forms part of an ongoing programme to establish a diverse wine industry through facilitating job placements with companies committed to cultivating a workplace in which diverse perspectives and experiences are welcomed and respected as well as to providing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).

Be The Change’s virtual platform will allow job-seekers to connect and engage in real-time with employers looking to recruit and hire diverse talent. Data collected at the fair will help Be the Change to set benchmarks for good hiring practices and sustainable progress with recruitment, promotion and retention. WSET will have two booths, providing attendees with access to speed-mentorship sessions with WSET Americas’ Business Development Team and notable WSET alumni such as Maggie Campbell DipWSET, Eric Moorer, Christina Veira and Charlene Rooke, and a chance to learn more about career opportunities within WSET Americas. You can register for the fair here.

Founded by industry leaders Lia Jones, Rania Zayyat, Cara Bertone and Philana Bouvier, Be the Change champions diversity and inclusion efforts and provides a powerful platform to drive social change.
