In honour of Pride Month, Moët Hennessy and WSET Americas have partnered to offer 100 LBTQIA+ unemployed members a free WSET Level 1 Award in Spirits course to help the community get back on its feet.

Although no sector has been left untouched, the past year has been particularly challenging for all those working in hospitality in the USA. In terms of unemployment, leisure and hospitality have been the industries hardest hit, accounting for almost four in 10 of all job losses*.

Rob McCaughey, Senior Commercial Development Manager - Innovation, WSET, commented, "As the global leader in wine, spirits and sake education we have responsibility to ensure that we are making our courses accessible to all communities. The beverage industry is a better place when it is a more inclusive place. WSET is truly grateful to be given the opportunity to work with our industry partners in supporting such worthwhile initiatives."
