Beginner wine tasting

Perfect for those just starting to learn about wine, our Old World classics tasting explores eight of Europe's signature red and white wine regions. We'll delve into world-famous grape varieties in their native soils and discuss how regions such as Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rioja and Barolo became benchmarks for wine excellence. We'll also demystify some of the complex labelling terms and jargon surrounding this wines. Presented by Lucy Stevenson DipWSET. 

If you fancy learning more about wines of the world, our New World classics tasting is the perfect follow on, taking place a month later.

Payment in full must be made at the time of booking and places are not confirmed until payment has been received, we cannot take provisional bookings.

Transfer requests will be accepted up to two weeks before each event.

Cancellation charges:

  • Up to 2 weeks before the tasting you will receive a refund less 10%.
  • Within 2 weeks of the tasting fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
