Intermediate wine tasting

Thought by many to be the world’s oldest wine producer, the earliest evidence of winemaking in Georgia dates to 6000 BC. Iconic for their use of ancient winemaking methods and varieties, Georgian wines have been of huge interest to curious sommeliers and consumers alike in recent years. This tasting will introduce you a wide selection of fascinating wines, from Kindzmarauli, the red semi-sweet wine, to the wines of the Alazani Valley, as well as a number of very classy dry red and white wines.

You’ll have the chance to taste grapes from the north, south, east and west of Georgia and find out more about the producers behind the wines, their philosophy and what inspires them to be the driving force behind this exciting historic wine industry.

Booking Terms and Conditions

Payment in full must be made at the time of booking and places are not confirmed until payment has been received. Unfortunately we cannot take provisional bookings.

Cancellations and transfers

  • Cancellations and transfers can be made up to two weeks before the event
  • Cancellations within 10 working days are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another event
  • If you need to change a name on the booking, please give us as much notice as possible
  • WSET School London reserves the right to cancel an event. If necessary, a full refund or transfer will be offered.
