Join Sera Svitlana Karamshuk for an exploration of Ukraine's diverse, historic and resilient wine industry.
Event details
Delve into the rich tapestry of Ukraine’s winemaking heritage, from its origins back in the 7th century BC to today's courageous vintners, making wine in the midst of a full-scale invasion.
Journey across the Europe's largest country from the Carpathian Mountains in the west to Bessarabia in the south, and onwards to Mykolaiv, nestled between the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. During the evening you will taste a range of wines including a white made from native Telti Kuruk, a Bordeaux blend with a Ukrainian twist, one of the country's sparkling wines, and a rich amphora-aged orange wine.
All proceeds from this event will go to Come Back Alive Foundation, Ukraine's largest charity dedicated to providing support to Ukraine's armed forces. For more information about their work go to savelife.in.ua
