This high-level course has been carefully developed by and for professionals working closely with spirits. It also represents the pinnacle of structured spirits education for the serious enthusiast.

Event details

Six consecutive days

This course will develop to a high-level your ability to describe spirits accurately, and account in detail for the style, quality and price of spirits.

It will open your eyes to new categories and offer you the opportunity to taste an exceptional range of spirits from across the globe, produced by some of the most well-respected names in distillation. Our expert educators will assist you to develop your analytic tasting abilities through a carefully selected series of spirits samples.

Booking deadline: Friday 4 September 2020

This intensive course requires that you undertake preparatory study prior to the course start date, therefore the booking deadline is set one month prior to the classroom start date.

Attendance

Classroom tuition: Monday 12 July - Friday 16 July 2021, 9:00am to 5:00pm, (times vary within the bracket of 8:30am to 5:00pm) (Register at 8:45am on the first day)

Examination: Saturday 17 July 2021, 9:30am to 12:30pm

Eligibility requirements

This course is open to students who have passed the Level 2 Award in Spirits, or the Spirits of the World unit (Unit 4) of the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits. If you haven't passed either of these, but have obtained the relevant knowledge and experience, you are eligible to gain entry through successful completion of an online entry test. 

Please be sure that you either have the relevant qualification, or that you have completed the online entry test before you book, as failure to meet these requirements may result in loss of booking and an administrative cancellation fee.
