A bottle of Sarget 1997 was one of the wines that started Lydia Harrison MW's long-term love affair with wine. She remains an avid fan of the Bordeaux region having visited over a dozen times. Lydia is a Certified Bordeaux Educator for the CIVB and regularly hosts events and tastings on the region as well as teaching about it at Diploma level for students at WSET School London.
This webinar will explore the history, varieties, appellations and wine styles of the region, as well as the quality classifications and some of the recent developments in the area. While there is no requirement for you to try and obtain a specific wine, please feel free to join with a glass of wine of your choice, even better if it’s a Bordeaux!
