To celebrate International #sherryweek which runs from 2 - 8 November 2020, our in-house sherry aficionado Lauren Denyer DipWSET will be talking all things sherry and food pairing. This classic Spanish fortified wine comes in an array of styles that are typically enjoyed with a whole host of different food options. Lauren will delve into some of the key molecular elements of the wines from acetaldehyde to sotolon and discuss how they react with different foods, so you can understand why certain combinations work so well!
As part of the webinar, Lauren will be tasting/discussing a Fino Sherry alongside olives, almonds and serrano ham. Feel free to purchase the same and taste alongside!
