Event details

Beginner's sake tasting

There’s no better time than now to start learning about sake. Steeped in over a thousand years of history, this culturally rich and highly diverse beverage is now soaring in popularity across the globe.

Premium examples have earned their place on many of the world’s top restaurant drinks lists and influential bartenders are extolling the virtues of sake as a versatile and elegant cocktail ingredient.

But what exactly is sake? Not a spirit, not a wine, not a beer, sake is a beverage category all to itself. This beginner-level tasting, hosted by Honami Matsumoto, will introduce you to this fascinating drink.

  • KEIGETSU CEL24 Junmai Daiginjo 50
  • Gozenshu Junmai Bodaimoto Usu-Nigori
