From the semi-arid slopes of the Okanagan Valley to the shoreline of Lake Ontario, Canada is making world-class sparkling wine, textured whites and meaty reds, alongside its famous sticky "ice wines". About the presenter, Halle Stephens
During one of her first jobs picking grapes in the Okanagan Valley, Halle did not know that 20 years later she would be working in wine. After years spent travelling across the world, she realised that food and drink were a direct line to the heart of a culture and gave her a window into a country’s soul. And so developed her passion for wine.
Halle managed a West London wine bar for five years whilst taking WSET courses to further enhance her knowledge. When returning home to Canada, she was consistently impressed by the calibre of wine. In 2020, Halle became an importer of fine Canadian wine with her company Okanagan Roots so that the UK could finally have access to Canada's best export.

Payment in full must be made at the time of booking and places are not confirmed until payment has been received. Unfortunately we cannot take provisional bookings.
Cancellations and transfers
- Cancellations and transfers can be made up to two weeks before the event
- Cancellations within 10 working days are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another event
- If you need to change a name on the booking, please give us as much notice as possible
- WSET School London reserves the right to cancel an event. If necessary, a full refund or transfer will be offered.

Intermediate: An in-depth exploration of a particular topic. Some prior knowledge is beneficial – such as a WSET Level 2 qualification – but these sessions will be enjoyable and educational for anyone with an interest in the subject.
