Can you tell your Burgundy from your Baden? Join our very own Michael Buriak DipWSET for this extra special, one-time-only tasting of nine superb Pinot Noir wines from around the world, all shown blind.
With news that the Burgundy 2021 vintage is causing prices to skyrocket even higher, many wine lovers are left wondering if Burgundy is destined to remain painfully expensive forever. However, this is not the only winemaking region producing top quality Pinot Noir – there are so many alternatives worth exploring too.
This is the perfect time to join a blind tasting of nine outstanding Pinot Noir wines from around the world. Expect some unforgettable Grand Cru Burgundy hidden amongst some very special wines from the likes of Ten Minutes by Tractor, Felton Road and Oregon’s Domaine Drouhin.
We’ll kick off the evening with a glass of "Bollinger PN", and the evening will be hosted by our longest-standing educator, Michael Buriak DipWSET. We'll reveal the wines at the end – no doubt there will be one or two eye-openers!
You’ll enjoy these fantastic wines alongside some regional cheese and charcuterie from Borough Market.

About the presenter, Michael Buriak DipWSET
Michael co-ordinates all of our Level 3 courses. He is a highly experienced educator and teaches across all levels. Payment in full must be made at the time of booking and places are not confirmed until payment has been received. Unfortunately we cannot take provisional bookings.
Cancellations and transfers
- Cancellations and transfers can be made up to two weeks before the event
- Cancellations within 10 working days are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another event
- If you need to change a name on the booking, please give us as much notice as possible
- WSET School London reserves the right to cancel an event. If necessary, a full refund or transfer will be offered.

Intermediate: An in-depth exploration of a particular topic. Some prior knowledge is beneficial – such as a WSET Level 2 qualification – but these sessions will be enjoyable and educational for anyone with an interest in the subject.
