Earth Day: Sustainability in Oregon with Bree Stock MW (webinar)

Register for free

Join Bree Stock MW for an in-depth exploration of the wines of Oregon and the challenges and opportunities of making wine sustainably.

Event details

While Oregon produces just 1% of all US wine, its reputation for sustainability exceeds its tiny production. Oregon's winemakers are committed to some of the tightest land use and environmental regulations in the country and it is home to some of the US’ largest organic, regenerative and biodynamic farmers.

Join Bree Stock MW, Oregon's first MW, to explore the wines of the state and investigate the challenges and opportunities that working sustainably presents for winemakers in the Pacific northwest.

Although this is not a tasting session, please do feel free to join with a glass of your choice. To get a taste of Oregon for yourself, join our in-person tasting with Bree at the school on Wednesday 27 April.

About the presenter, Bree Stock MW

Bree Stock MW

Bree Stock is Oregon’s first Master of Wine and the only female MW in the Pacific Northwest.

Australian-born, her wine career began in the Canadian on-trade with sommelier and buying roles on both coasts before returning to Australia to pursue a career in wine importing, sales, and winemaking roles. Her curiosity and love for wine led her to travel extensively to pursue harvest roles in Austria, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and the US.

A frequent presenter at trade conferences such as TEXSOM, SommCon, ProWein, and Cornucopia and an educator with the Online Wine Academy in Napa Valley where she developed the Oregon Wine Specialist program. She sits on the board of Assemblage Diversity in Wine, Masters of Wine North America, and SommCon, organizations that align with her philosophies to provide access to wine education and industry support to all.

She is also the winemaker for her Willamette Valley brand, Limited Addition Wines, as well as Concinnitas Fermentations, Artist Block, and Grace + Vine all based in Oregon.
