Register (via Zoom)

Join Albert Hereu of the Catalan Cork Institute Foundation for a webinar exploring the controversial world of wine closures.

Event details

Discover the art of selecting the right closure and learn best practices for bottling, storing, and transporting wine. During the event, we’ll delve into the sensory aspects of cork stoppers, including both their positive and negative aromas and provide an overview of the cork sector and its future trends.

This webinar is an excellent opportunity for WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines students to gain a deeper understanding of a crucial but often overlooked aspect of wine production.

The session will include a Q&A giving you the opportunity to ask any burning questions about the vexed subject of wine closures.

Although this is not a tasting session, please do feel free to join with a glass of wine of your choice! Let us know what you're tasting on Instagram by tagging @WSET_school_london and #WSETschool.
