Discover beer tasting with WSET

Variety in focus: Chardonnay

Lauren Denyer DipWSET

Join wine educator Lauren Denyer DipWSET for a deep dive into the Chardonnay grape variety. Lauren will guide you through a tasting of three Chardonnay wines produced in different regions, to examine how the growing environment and winemaking practices impact the style, flavour and price of the wine in your glass. You’ll then have the opportunity to put your tasting skills to the test and assess one wine blind – will you be able to work out where it’s from and how it’s been made?

This session is aimed at those who have studied the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines or have the equivalent level of knowledge. The tasting techniques explored in the session will provide an insight into the skills developed when studying the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines qualification, including how to identify wines through blind tasting.

Wednesday 21 May @ 02:30 - 03:30 PM, The Tasting Space

Challenge yourself to spot techniques, identify benchmark appellations, and uncover a few surprises along the way.

This session is perfect for anyone studying – or considering – the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines or the WSET Diploma, or simply passionate about the pink stuff.
