Join Iris Fabre DipWSET to explore the wines from the Island of Beauty.
Event details
Corsica is a dream holiday destination, located between sandy beaches, colourful vegetation and rocky mountains. This small French island offers an incredible diversity of landscapes, and its Mediterranean climate makes it the perfect place to cultivate grapes.
At this tasting, French educator Iris Fabre DipWSET will guide you through Corsica’s vineyards, exploring the island’s fascinating history, local grape varieties such as Vermentinu and Niellucciu, and the wide range of wine styles found across Corsica—from refreshing whites to bold reds from old vines, as well as sweet Muscat.
You'll enjoy these wines paired with a selection of French and Italian cheeses from La Fromagerie.
