Plunge into the world of Greek wine with oenologist Sofia Prepera.

Event details

Greece is both one of the oldest and newest winemaking nations. While Bacchus was being worshipped more than two millennia ago, it is only in the past few decades that the Greek wine industry has reinvented itself to adapt to an increasingly competitive global market.

During this tasting, you'll explore the indigenous grape varieties of Greece, including Assyrtiko and Xinomavro, exploring the country’s rich viticultural heritage through a curated selection of wines from some of its most important winemaking regions.

The presentation will combine historical references with current production data and market insights, offering a comprehensive perspective on the evolution and contemporary relevance of Greek wine.

Enjoy the wines alongside a selection of cheeses from La Fromagerie.
