Join us at WSET School London for an evening with Jancis Robinson, the world’s most influential wine writer, as we celebrate 25 years of jancisrobinson.com and her extraordinary 50-year career in wine writing.
Event details
Jancis will present a selection of her favourite wines – all served from magnum – and share the stories behind the producers, vintages, and regions that make these wines special.
This is a rare opportunity to taste some exceptional wines in the company of a legend of the wine world and to reflect on a career that has shaped how we all think about wine today.
Due to demand, we will be releasing tickets for this event in two tranches. Sign up to our fortnightly newsletter to be first to know when the second tranche is released.

About the presenter, Jancis Robinson MW

Jancis Robinson, described by the San Francisco Chronicle as “the greatest living wine writer,” has been voted the world’s most influential wine critic, though she prefers to describer herself as a “wine writer.” She founded JancisRobinson.com in 2000, now an award-winning subscription site owned by Eisenhower Flagstaff, where she remains editor-in-chief. Since 1989, she has been wine correspondent for the Financial Times.
She created The Oxford Companion to Wine, co-authored The World Atlas of Wine (nearly five million copies sold) and Wine Grapes, all global reference works. In 1984, she became the first non-trade Master of Wine and was awarded an OBE in 2003, advising the Queen’s cellar until 2022. She has six James Beard Awards, including induction into its Cookbook Hall of Fame, and has received top honors from France, Germany, and the US.
Her initiatives include launching an ideal wine glass (2018), supporting diversity through the Gérard Basset Foundation (2021), and promoting regenerative viticulture (2025). She has two Lifetime Achievement Awards and has championed sustainability since 2006.
