For a region famed for mastering ‘the art of the blend’, vintage Champagnes provide an opportunity to understand more singular expressions of this famous wine.
Join Champagne expert Ousi Li DipWSET for an exploration of eight significant vintages from the past 25 years. From the highly sought after 2002 vintage, to standouts like 2008 and 2012, Ousi will discuss what made these years special.
She will also look at a string of notable recent vintages, considering where the wines are now and how they may evolve.
With a selection of wines from iconic Grandes Marques to cult growers, this is a tasting not to be missed by Champagne geeks!
A selection of cheeses from La Fromagerie will be provided.

About the presenter, Ousi Li DipWSET

Originally from San Francisco, Ousi’s career began in startups, though after two Californian harvests and courses in viticulture and enology, she followed her passion into wine. She worked for six years at the US-based retailer Flatiron Wines as Head of Marketing and Champagne Buyer before joining Lay & Wheeler in the UK where she is currently Head of Merchandising and Customer Experience. Her passion is grower Champagne and she has been traveling regularly to the region since 2017 and worked harvest there in 2022. Ousi holds a MSc from the London School of Economics and a B.A. from Wellesley College. She received her WSET Diploma in 2019 and is currently a Stage 2 MW student.

Cancellations and transfers
- Cancellations and transfers can be made up to two weeks before the event.
- Cancellations within 10 working days are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another event.
- If you need to change a name on the booking, please give us as much notice as possible.
- WSET School London reserves the right to cancel an event. If necessary, a full refund or transfer will be offered.
