The WSET works with an extensive network of over 400 third-party teaching and examination centres, known as Approved Programme Providers, in over 50 countries around the world who offer one or more of our qualifications.

In order to be able to assure the quality of the WSET "experience" anywhere in the world, WSET operates an approval and monitoring scheme for such third-party partners through its WSET Awards division. A key feature of these arrangements is that APPs are only approved if they they meet - and continue to meet - our quality criteria.

WSET Awards monitors the performance of all APPs and has a formal review, reapproval and disciplinary framework to ensure that every APP adheres to our regulations and performs in accordance with our expectations. Should any student have concerns that their APP is not providing the service that they expect, or is behaving in a way that is inconsistent with the standards required in terms of administration, tuition or examinations they are asked to contact our Quality Assurance Manager, John Townley, by email at jtownley@wset.co.uk.
