Event details

Hybrid in-person/online wine event

WSET is looking forward to the fourth edition of Milano Wine Week, an innovative digital and in-person event that brings together the main players in the global wine industry – including opinion leaders, producers and organisations, industry professionals, trade press - as well as the wider public of wine lovers.

The fair offers an international platform for exchange, sharing of ideas and training. A wide scope of perspectives from the sectors of catering, distribution, food and restaurants will be joining forces to drive the come-back of the wine industry, the agri-food industry and of Italian excellence.

You can expect a rich programme of events taking place over the course of nine days in Milan and in major cities across key international wine export markets. Formats will include tastings, masterclasses, forums, B2B meetings and opportunities for exchange and training. In the heart of Milan itself, hundreds of locations and catering venues will offer the attending public an opportunity to enjoy new wine experiences - both physically and digitally – in complete safety.

WSET will be taking part remotely in two areas of this diverse programme:

Wine geek

Wednesday 6 October at 4.30pm Italian Time.

Joseph Hallam DipWSET will be representing WSET on a panel discussing how wine education is changing, from the enhancement of online courses and live streaming, to how it affects the profitability of companies and consumer awareness when buying wine.

WSET introductory masterclass

Thursday 7 October at 8.30pm Italian Time

WSET Certified Educator Cristina Mercuri DipWSET will be leading a masterclass introducing WSET, our qualification pathway and our famous Systematic Approach to Tasting.
