WSET is delighted to invite Diploma Alumni to join us at WSET School London for an exclusive blind tasting and networking evening in collaboration with Coravin.
Often there is a special bottle of wine we wish can last for more than one evening – but how can we enjoy wine by the glass over a longer period whilst maintaining the condition?
During this session, Lauren Denyer DipWSET will lead a blind tasting session to explore the flavour profiles of a flight of three wines, challenging you to distinguish which wine has been freshly opened versus the wine that has been preserved. Richard Yeomans from Coravin will explore the science behind wine preservation by looking at looking at the interaction of wine with oxygen and inert gases.
The event is a special opportunity to make new connections or re-connect with your fellow WSET Diploma holders while continuing to develop your tasting practice and knowledge.
A networking reception will follow the tasting where drinks and light bites will be served.
