The national beverage of Japan is now enjoyed around the world, but how much do you know about sake? Join us for this introduction session where we will explore the stages of sake production and how these choices affect the flavour and style of sake. We will also look at the best way to serve and enjoy sake.

This webinar is free to attend and open to anyone, no prior knowledge is needed. The new series of bitesize 30-minute webinars are ideal for beginners looking to learn more about sake.

Tom Wilson, head brewer, KANPAI - London Craft Sake

Tom is a self-confessed brew and food obsessive, always pushing the boundaries of what can be created and enjoyed. After years of exploring sake from both a production and consumption perspective, Tom co-founded the UK's first sake brewery in 2016. Based in Peckham, they craft a range of award-winning British sakes using traditional Japanese techniques. Tom has a number of globally recognised qualifications including: WSET Level 3 Sake (Distinction); Gekkeikan Brew School Certified; IWC Sake Judge; Brewing Society of Japan Member.
