Webinar

In this one-hour webinar, we will learn about the factors that affect the style and quality of the sparkling wines of Franciacorta. These wines are produced using the traditional method in the DOCG protected region in north-eastern Italy.

J.C. Viens, senior educator at Grande Passione, will start by looking at the history of the wine, the protected region and DOCG status, and the permitted grapes and styles. By the end of the session, participants will have in-depth knowledge regarding grape varieties, ripening conditions, and human factors specific to this region.

This session is relevant to all WSET wine levels and will be especially useful for WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines students.
