Joseph Hallam DipWSET - Head of Educator Development, WSET
Joseph is Head of Educator Development and leads the team in training and supporting new and existing educators. He is focused on developing world class education professionals, giving them practical tools and fostering transferable skills that will help make their learning environment as effective as possible. In his 10 years at WSET he has also worked in the APPD team, where he gained insight from around the world on how courses are delivered successfully to diverse groups of students.
Janette Devlin DipWSET - Educator Development and Training Manager, WSET
Janette has worked in the wine industry since the mid-1990s, starting in restaurants and retail before achieving the WSET Diploma in 1998. Her career spans roles in organic and biodynamic viticulture across France, Australia, Germany, and England. In 2014, she joined WSET to develop digital education and later completed an MSc in Viticulture and Oenology, with an innovative thesis on teaching wine sensory skills online. Janette holds all WSET qualifications, including awards in Beer, Spirits, and Sake, and has completed the Educator Training Programme for Wine and Beer.
