WSET, the global leader in drinks education, is pleased to announce Laurent-Perrier as its newest Gold Partner.

The partnership will see the independent, family-owned Champagne House support and collaborate with WSET across a range of initiatives over the next three years. This includes serving as the headline drinks sponsor at WSET’s flagship Graduation event, a global celebration of outstanding student achievement.

Michelle Brampton, WSET Chief Executive, said:

We’re delighted to welcome Laurent-Perrier to our list of WSET Gold Partners and as the headline drinks sponsor for our annual Graduation ceremony. This partnership brings together two organisations with a shared commitment to education, expertise and quality, and supports our wider work to improve access to drinks education worldwide.”

In addition, Laurent-Perrier US will sponsor the WSET Diploma Sparkling Wine Prize, awarded to a top-performing student in the Americas. The winner will receive an exclusive visit to the Laurent-Perrier cellars in Champagne, France, with travel, accommodation and hospitality also provided by Laurent-Perrier US. The award will be presented at the WSET Graduation at the QEII Centre in London in April 2026.

Adam Guy, UK Managing Director for Laurent-Perrier, said:

“We are very happy to partner with WSET as a Gold Partner, aligning Laurent-Perrier with the world’s leading authority in drinks education. This partnership reflects our shared values of excellence, expertise and long-term commitment to quality. Supporting WSET Graduation in the UK and the Diploma Sparkling Wine Prize in the US allows us to celebrate achievement, invest in future talent and strengthen our connection with the global drinks trade.”

Founded in 1812, Laurent-Perrier is widely recognised as an innovator in Champagne, defined by three distinctive savoir-faire techniques: the blending of reserve wines, mastery of maceration and the pioneering of non-dosage champagne. The House’s long-term approach to quality and environmental responsibility was recognised in 2024, when it became the first Champagne house to be awarded a Royal Warrant by His Majesty King Charles III.

WSET’s partnership programme enables companies to create positive social impact by helping to make drinks education globally accessible and to support a more inclusive drinks industry. With the support of almost 50 partners, WSET delivers its social impact work worldwide and, since August 2023, has supported more than 1,000 individuals across 14 countries in collaboration with 33 partner organisations. For further information about WSET’s impact projects see the WSET social impact page.
